Ms. Bikini America - Tall Class Champion, Monica Cariveau, will bring “Miami to Minnesota” on Saturday June 14th from 8 P.M. – 1 A.M. at NBA City inside Target Center, Downtown Minneapolis. Celebrating her title as Ms. Bikini America, Monica hopes to rally Minnesota supporters and raise money for her participation in Ms. Bikini Universe.

MPLS, MN (Tripple Sul Entertainment) June 2, 2008 -- Saturday June 14th, 2008 Ms. Bikini America, Tall Class Champion, Monica Cariveau will heat up Minneapolis. “Miami to Minnesota” will be held at NBA City Minneapolis in Target Center, 600 1st Avenue N, Downtown Minneapolis, MN 55403 from 8:00 P.M. to 1:00 A.M. This event celebrates Monica’s current Ms. Bikini title while helping her raise money to compete for Ms. Bikini Universe and bring the title from Miami to Minnesota.

This event is already garnering media attention from 93X (KXXR FM), B96 (96.3 FM), and ThriftyHipster.com. Monica will be making an appearance Saturday June 14th at the B96 Car Show and VIP concert with R&B Superstar Mario (seen on the hit television show “Dancing with the Stars”) to promote the event and greet fans.

NBA City, with its original location in Florida, is the perfect setting for this event. Hosted by Ms. Bikini herself, the event will also feature models from the Lady‘s of Soul, Monica‘s local and national celebrity friends, and former fitness title holders. Activities will include calendar and poster signings, bikini basketball shoot out, photo opportunities, DJ spinning all the hits, along with a Miami themed drink and appetizer special.

“Miami to Minnesota” will rally Minnesota supporters and help Monica realize her dream. A national title holder, Monica has taken her small town up bringing, and is quickly turning herself into a fitness icon. In her first year of competition she stormed the judges with her unique beauty, poise, and grace and won the Ms. Bikini America, Tall Class Champion title and also was the runner-up to Ms. Bikini Universe. She did this all with the support from two of the top fitness coaches and celebrity choreographer. Monica is looking to gain national and international prominence as she competes to take the Ms. Bikini Universe title in June. Known as one of the favorite, if not the absolute favorite to win the title, Monica is on her way to gracing the covers and pages of more national magazines and speaking on behalf of national charities that are close to her heart.

She is a gifted athlete with many talents in such diverse disciplines as martial arts, gymnastics, boxing, dance, skating and weight lifting. Previously Monica has appeared on the pages and covers of national magazines such as Oxygen, Fisico (Mexico), Status Magazine, Natural Muscle, and on evening television comedy series “Cuts” and “One on One” at Paramount Studios in Hollywood as well as a Miami Modeling DVD now being sold at the following outlets; Best Buy, Blockbuster, and Netflix.
